Lanark to Langholm’


New music for Clarinets & Piano inspired by Clydesdale and the Scottish Borders. In collaboration with artist Ronnie Cruwys.

Programme features the premiere of Rob Hall’s ‘Close Encounters for Clarinet & Piano’ based on historic themes from Lanark’s medieval closes, along with the Suite’s publication launch with Stainer & Bell, and the second performance of Chick Lyall’s Scottish Arts Trust commission ‘The Crying Of The Fair’ (2023) for Clarinets, Piano & Electronics themed on the ancient tradition of the Common Ridings at Langholm.
